How Does Coinosh Keep Funds Secure?
Updated over a week ago

Coinosh prioritizes the security of funds by utilising secure storage mechanisms provided by the iOS and Android operating systems. The wallet app securely stores private keys, which are necessary to derive payment addresses, display balances, and authorize cryptocurrency transactions.

The private keys are stored in a special-purpose secure storage medium provided by the operating systems. This ensures that even if the user's phone is lost or falls into unauthorized hands, the private keys remain secure and inaccessible to anyone without proper authorization. Coinosh takes advantage of the robust security features offered by the operating systems to safeguard the funds held in the wallet.

NOTE: Coinosh does not keep a copy of your private keys or recovery phase.
