Why Do Failed Swaps Still Use Fees?
Updated over a week ago

Failed swaps in Coinosh still incur fees because transaction fees are paid to network miners or validators for their computational work, regardless of the transaction's success.

These fees compensate miners for their efforts in processing and validating transactions on the blockchain. Coinosh does not retain these fees; they are paid directly to the network to maintain its security and efficiency.

So even if a swap fails, the fee cannot be refunded.
