How Can I Monitor The Status Of Incoming/Outgoing Bitcoin Transactions?
Updated over a week ago

Coinosh allows users to monitor the status of their Bitcoin transactions.

After sending a Bitcoin transaction, it will appear as 'pending' in the Transactions tab of the wallet for both the sender and recipient. The transaction will remain 'pending' until it is included in the Bitcoin blockchain.

Once the transaction is included in the blockchain, the status changes to 'sending' for the sender and 'receiving' for the recipient. This indicates that the transaction has received its first confirmation.

The status will remain as 'sending' for the sender and 'receiving' for the recipient until at least 3 blocks have passed, which is equivalent to 3 confirmations.

During this time, the transaction amount will not be reflected in the recipient's balance and the recipient will not be able to spend the received funds in other transactions.

In addition to monitoring within Coinosh, users can also use publicly available Bitcoin block explorers, such as btc.com, to monitor the status of their transactions. To do this, users will need the transaction ID, which can be found in Coinosh.
